LED Lighting and moving heads

LED's are traditionally grouped by the number of colours they offer  
3 colour TRI   4 colour QUAD  5 Colour PENT  6 colour HEX .

LED has the advantage of very low power consumption, no heat given off and no lamp that will need replacing.
For most applications the less expensive fan cooled lanterns work well but if you are in an intimate drama setting
look out for the convection cooled lanterns which are silent running
